There are two settings, home for when you are home and away for when you are out
Set the unit to away mode when leaving the house, when a caller is at your door the doorbell is pressed the speaker will sound "ding dong" and triggers the main unit to call the pre-stored phone number, the caller will only hear the "ding dong" they will be unaware that you are not home even though you are answering your door from your mobile wherever you are
Used as a security alarm, the alarm will sound when movement is detected and trigger the dialler to call the pre-stored telephone numbers alerting you that there is an intruder
While you are at home set the unit to home mode, when the doorbell is pressed the speaker and the main unit inside will sound "ding dong"
